Join Aggieland Cycling for a wide variety of local cycling events. Find information here on past and future events.

Critical Mass College Station – Critical Mass is a cycling ride held on the last Friday of every month around the world. This is a family-friendly social bike ride with a different route each month and mileage ranging between 8-12 miles. Ride will be “party pace”, averaging 8-10mph. This event is hosted by members of the local cycling community, but starts and ends at Aggieland Cycling.
Meet at Aggieland Cycling at 7pm, ride begins at 7:15pm.
Cyclists ride at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own safety!
Bikes and Coffee – Community event occurring on the second Saturday of every month hosted by Aggieland Cycling. This come and go event is a great way to meet other local cyclists and enjoy free coffee on us! This event also occasionally includes special clinics, presentations, or bike shows, so check in on our Instagram and Facebook for further details about the month’s Bikes and Coffee.
The event takes place here at Aggieland Cycling, in the grassy area out front starting at 9:30am. While this is not a ride, many attendees ride their bikes to the shop. We recommend bringing along friends and family to bike in with!
All you need to bring is yourself! Bonus points for bringing your bike, too.
Biannual Bike Swap – This event is somewhat new to our bike shop, having started in 2024. We brought it to Aggieland Cycling as a good way for bike enthusiasts from all over the area to meet up and sell, trade, or buy bikes, bike parts, accessories, etc. We plan to host these swaps biannually, on a Saturday morning of May and October. It may occur at the same time as Bikes and Coffee. We will announce dates for the bike swap on our Instagram and Facebook.
The swap takes place here at Aggieland Cycling. Everyone will be set up in the grassy area out front.
Please plan to bring your own tables, chairs, blankets, etc. Whatever you’ll need for your display if you’re planning to sell. Consider bringing a truck or larger vehicle in case you find a good deal on bikes and more!
This event is completely free to buyers and sellers alike. The more people, the merrier!
Cranksgiving – This annual bike ride event is a scavenger hunt/charity ride to collect donations for the Brazos Valley Food Bank. Since we began hosting the ride at Aggieland Cycling in 2020, we have been able to raise thousands of pounds of food and personal care items thanks to the generosity of our local cycling community. Our goal is to raise over 1300lbs of donations next year!
The ride typically ~10-13 miles long with 4 grocery stores checkpoints. At each checkpoint, riders are asked to purchase non-perishable goods to be donated to Brazos Valley Food Bank. There is no set route between the stores so knowledge of local streets or how to use google maps is very helpful. We encourage all riders to bring along their family, friends, co-workers, ect. as this event is more fun to do in a group! It can also be helpful to leave one person outside the store to watch the bikes. Participants can race or do the ride at their own pace.
After the ride, there is an afterparty at Aggieland Cycling with food and prizes for all participants!
Brazos Valley Bike Polo – Brazos Valley Bike Polo is a community-centric organization that aims to foster friendships while enjoying the relatively-niche sport of bike polo. If you have never heard of bike polo, think of it as hockey on bikes!
The club plays every Tuesday night at 7pm at the BRAND NEW Anderson Park Bike Polo Courts here in College Station! The courts were just opened in May 2025. They are located just to the left of Grace Bible Church.
The club has loaner bikes and mallets available to borrow, so feel free to stop by and check it out. All you need to join is a helmet, a good attitude and an adventurous spirit. No experience necessary!
